European Budgetary Monitoring

All EU member states submit their medium-term fiscal structural plans (FSPs) and progress reports in accordance with the new reporting format under the European Semester. In addition, euro area member states submit a draft budgetary plan in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 473/2013 during the Semester cycle. The federal government submits the respective reports to the competent expert committees of the Bundestag and Bundesrat. The Stability Council is also consulted.
