Act Governing Financial Equalisation between Federation and Länder

Section 11 subsection (3), third sentence

The Länder of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt and Thüringen shall, within the framework of the Aufbau Ost progress reports, report annually to the Stability Council regarding their respective progress in closing infrastructure gaps and regarding the use of funds they have received to tackle special burdens arising from the division of Germany. The reports shall be submitted by, at the latest, 15 September of the year following the reporting year, and discussed in the Stability Council, with the federal government providing its opinion.
