Chair and Members
The Federal Minister of Finance and the chair of the Länder Finance Minister Conference co-chair the Stability Council.
The chairs alternate annually, halfway through the year. From 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025, it is the turn of the Federal Minister of Finance to chair the meetings of the Stability Council. Following that, the chair of the Länder Finance Minister Conference will then assume the chair of the Stability Council for one year.
Every member nominates a permanent representative.
